I’m Sharon Feliciano, founder of ParentingGeekly. I live in Seattle, WA with my two kids (Nate, 2000 and Kitty, 2007), and my husband Rick who helps keeps the gears running behind the scenes at major video game developer.
I founded Parenting Geekly in 2010 to provide a place for geeky parents to find product reviews, technology and media guides, and advice – all with a nerdy twist.
Outside of Parenting Geekly, I am the VicePresident of GeekGirlCon. I work closely with Arcane Comics and More, a family-friendly comic shop just north of Seattle in Shoreline. As my alter-ego Sharon the Marketing Geek, I consult with businesses of all sizes on all kinds of marketing and advertising projects.
ParentingGeekly.com has been featured on the local NBC and Fox affiliates, the Dark Horse Comics Blog, LAWeekly.com, Wired.com, and GeekWire.
Locally, Parenting Geekly has worked with the Seattle International Film Festival, Seattle Art Museum, GeekGirlCon, the Bellevue Hyatt Regency, AT&T Seattle, and John Howie Steak. Parenting Geekly has also worked with: Cirque du Soliel, Disney/Pixar, T-Mobile, and other national brands.
